OCTOBER'09:
We are delighted to see that our video for Jay Sean 'Down' has hit number one in the US. With 12.5 million hits on youtube, we will certainly be getting the champagne out.
We have just launched our brand new website that you are using now. We feel this one is much more specific and user friendly than the previous. Do have a look at the 'our work' section, where you can catch up with some of our best work to date.
Other projects this month have included production of a new viral campaign for Grapevine Media, and a TV ad for the release of David James' DVD 'Who Would Be a Goalkeeper.'
SEPTEMBER'09:
We are currently working on an edit for a new dance fitness DVD that has encouraged many of us in the office to don our trainers and get working out!
Hey Buddy director Shurwin Beckford has been out of the office and producing at the Mobo Awards (Music of Black Origin). Taking place in Glasgow this year, the Mobos were hosted by Keri Hilson and Reggie Yates and included homage to superstar Michael Jackson.
We are pleased to welcome back one of our top editors; Ceri has just returned from the depths of Brazil with a shiny new tan.
AUGUST'09:
Hey Buddy have been up to Glasgow to shoot some more Halloween themed idents for the channel BT Vision Kids. The edit for this is also coming along nicely and we look forward to delivering a set of spooky idents to introduce cartoons on the channel.
We took a camera crew down to the BBC Maide Vale studios to film Zane Loe and the Artic Monkeys. With a quick turn around, this video clip was featured on the BBC 1Xtra website the very next day!
In the corporate world of Hey Buddy, we have just finished the edit for yet another Novartis project. The employees of Novartis will be pleased to receive a complete DVD package full of helicopter rides and Alpine luging and much more.
JULY'09:
Hey Buddy have been on an alpine adventure. We spent 2 weeks filming for corporate brand Novartis as they took their employees off to the Swiss alps for award ceremonies and fun filled activities.
We are pleased to announce that we have wrapped two Jay Sean videos. After months of very hard production work and long days editing, 'Down' featuring Lil' Wayne and 'Written on Her' featuring Birdman are now in the bag and ready for release. Look out for these 2 hot new videos as they hit the television and the web over the next few days.
Hey Buddy have been back to school, Primary School that is! We have been filming to create some Halloween special idents for channel BT Vision Kids, we spent a fun filled 2 days with a group of 7 year olds, some pumpkin props and some witches hats....oh, and we also did some work as well.
